On May 11 celebrated for the first time World Day to Support of Southern Mongolia. NGOs and eminent personalities of the Mongolian world proclaimed this day.
On May 9 two protests were held in Tokyo.
In the morning, a demonstration took place in front of the Chinese Embassy. Japanese MP Takashi Nagao, the Southern Mongolian Congress and Japanese and Hong Kong activists attended. They spoke about the truth of Southern Mongolia and made a statement.
In the afternoon, a large protest took place in Tokyo with 600 people. They paid tribute to the 10th anniversary of the death of the herder-hero Mergen and supported the World Day of Southern Mongolia. Activists from Japan, Tibet, Uighur, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Myanmar and Cambodia participated. The action was initiated by the Southern Mongolian Congress.
The action took place on May 9 in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Organized by Power of the majority of the people party and NGOs. They told people the truth about Southern Mongolia and made a video content.
On May 11, Ts. Elbegdorj, head of the World Mongolian Association, spoke about Southern Mongolia at Clubhouse and FB. The World Mongolian Association has prepared a video content in support of Southern Mongolians and posted it on FB.
