Mongols living in Paris protest against CCP’s policy of cultural genocide in South Mongolia
Since September 1, 2020, the CCP has implemented the so-called “bilingual” education in South Mongolia. The essence of “bilingual” education is a kind of cultural genocide policy to eliminate Mongolian language, writing and culture in Inner Mongolia. This unpopularity makes all Mongolians hate it. The policy has been implemented for two full years. Every year on September 1st and October 1st, our South Mongolia compatriots overseas hold protests to express our demands, calling on the CCP authorities to stop the policy of cultural genocide.Today, October 1, 2022, more than 20 Mongolian compatriots and other ethnic groups also under the oppression of the CCP gathered in Paris to protest the CCP’s policy of oppressing ethnic minorities. Every ethnic group has the right to use their own mother tongue and pass it on to the next generation.
In September 2020, the “bilingual” education launched by the CCP authorities in Inner Mongolia caused widespread boycotts from teachers, students, parents, herdsmen, and even civil servants, and policemen within the CCP state system responded in unison to protest in Inner Mongolia.According to incomplete statistics, more than 300,000 parents and students participated in the protests. They refused to send their children to the school. In order to express protest, some teachers and civil servants even committed suicide to express their dissatisfaction! In response to this, the CCP has launched a crackdown, with more than 100 people arrested and the whereabouts of several protesters still unknown, and the promotion of Chinese as the main language of instruction throughout Inner Mongolia was accelerated. This narrows the space for us to use our own language and words.
In 2022, the policy of “starting from children” will be implemented in kindergartens, and the teaching of Mandarin will be promoted in an all-round way,put forward Chinese proficiency requirements and tests for Mongolian teachers and public officials which will speed up the process of assimilation to South Mongolia.Nevertheless, our overseas Mongolian compatriots will not stop protesting, because this policy of forced national assimilation is related to the life and death of our Mongolian nation!
