The 3rd General Assembly of the Southern Mongolia Congress

On October 10, 2025, the Southern Mongolia Congress (World Southern Mongolia Conference) held its Third General Assembly in Tokyo, Japan, with simultaneous online participation (hybrid format).

During the meeting, reports on the organization’s activities over the past four years were presented, followed by discussions on structural reform, leadership elections, and the direction of future activities.

As a result of the deliberations, the Congress decided to adopt a Co-Chairmanship System for the next four years, aiming for more proactive and effective engagement.

In the leadership election,

・Mr. Temtselt Shobchuud was elected as the new Chairperson, and

・Mr. Daichin Olhunud was elected as Co-Chairperson.

Under this new leadership, the Southern Mongolia Congress will further strengthen its collaboration with the international community to advance the freedom, human rights, and self-determination of the Southern Mongolian people.

Details of the new organizational structure and leadership composition will be officially announced in the near future.
